Please fill out the Lunch Choice form to let us know if your student will need a meal prepared in the cafeteria on the last day of school (5/24).

** Please note that school will DISMISS EARLY at 11:30 am on the last day of school.

In an effort to enhance security and safety of our students and staff and to improve the efficiency of our routes, for the 2024–2025 school year, all eligible bus riders – new and returning – will be required to register for transportation if they wish to utilize transportation to and/or from school. In the past, routes for general education students were created based on eligible riders. Going forward routes will be created based on actual riders.

To guarantee transportation on the first day of the 2024–2025 school year, bus registration for general education riders must be received by Friday, June 14. Registrations received after this date will be processed as soon as possible in the order in which they were received.

All medication(s) and supplies that have been left in the clinic for a student need to be picked up by a parent / guardian no later than 5/24 at 11:30am. Please note that students will not be able to pick up medications under any circumstances. Any medication not picked up by 5/24 at 11:30am will be disposed of, per LISD policy. If you have questions, please contact the clinic at 512-570-7127.

Make sure you print your 5th grader's last report card from Home Access Center (HAC) prior to July. He/She will need it for sports in middle school and you will not be able to access the report card after July!

Lost & found continues to grow each day. As the school year winds down, please stop in the front vestibule to check it out - you could be missing something you haven't realized is gone! All items will be donated after school is out.

5th Grade Parents!!!

As a reminder, graduation ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 23rd at 8:00 a.m. sharp! It would be a GREAT idea to come up and get your visitor badge early that week so that you are not waiting in a long line Thursday morning!

Thanks to the help of some amazing community members, our Parkside School Garden is starting to take shape. We are looking for volunteers to help support our garden over the summer! If you and your family would like to adopt a week, we would appreciate it! Adoption would include watering (we have a water source and hose!) and weeding as needed. Anything you want to harvest, you are welcome to!

We will be hosting a Summer Garden Party event for of the families that volunteer to keep the garden going! More details to come, but the day will be in August!

Please be aware that we have several students on campus with food allergies, so non-food items for birthday treats are always preferred. We respectfully request that families provide teachers at least 48-hours notice if you are planning to bring birthday treats to the school for your child. All birthday celebrations will occur at the end of the school day after 2:00pm.
