
Fall for Ross

Every fall we invite all members of our community to Fall for Ross by contributing to our annual fundraising drive, with the goal of raising $50,000 between now and the end of November.
We encourage families to consider a tax-deductible financial donation of $50/month ($600 annually) so the PTA can continue funding school operating costs and continue its programs. Please give as you’re able. Small or large, every donation is important and contributes to improving the learning environment for every student at Ross. New this year: You can give using a variety of payment platforms, including Google Pay, credit card, Venmo, PayPal, bank transfer and donor-advised fund.
The class with the highest percentage of participation will win a 🍧 popsicle party 🍧! Please give today!
Why should I give to the school's annual fundraising drive?
Did you know that 58% of PTA spending goes to Ross operating costs, books, classroom and teacher/staff support, field trips, and more? That means that the PTA is spending $102,000 on kids’ Ross education every year. Learn more below about how every dollar counts.
We can't do it without you, and without our Ross community.
Each year, the PTA aims to raise $175,000 - and spends most of it in a single school year. If the PTA doesn’t reach its fundraising goal, it will reduce spending on the school’s operating costs, curriculum and teacher/staff support, as well as on events and activities that make our community a fun place to learn and live.
The PTA runs three main, and several smaller, fundraisers to reach our fundraising goals: 1) Fall for Ross, 2) the tree and bake sale in the winter, and 3) the Ross Auction in March.

There are many other ways, big and small, to get involved! You can give your time and your talents to help our school. Every Ross parent/guardian is a member of the PTA, and there are no dues. Email ptapresident@rosselementary.org to learn more.

BOOK DRIVE: The annual Mother’s and Father’s Day Book Drive in the spring helps buy appropriate and updated books for our children’s classrooms and the school library. Last year, the drive raised more than $7,000, or more than 280 books, for the school. Student involvement led to the record-breaking total.
