We are thrilled to announce our fourth six-week Student of the Month nominees. They have shown exceptional dedication, hard work, and a positive attitude in all areas of their academic and personal growth. These Woodside students consistently demonstrate kindness, responsibility, and a passion for learning, setting a great example for peers.

Regional Science Fair Recognitions and Awards from PFW

Kendall Chandler: Indiana Tech Science and Engineering Better World Award; Mental Attitude Award; NEIRSEF Certificate of Excellence in Chemistry.

Darshil Sriram & Ishaan Nyaharkar: Franklin Electric Most Convincing Argument 1st Place; ISEF NASA Award; NEIRSEF Certificate of Excellence in Engineering.

Regional Science Fair Recognitions and Awards from PFW

FCCLA State Conference Results

Ella Gildea, Addy Shuey & Lilly Stuckey received a Silver Award in Level 1 Interior Design. They won and qualified for national competition.
Audrey Hennessey received a Silver Award in Level 1 Fashion Construction and came in 2nd in her category. Qualifying for nationals.
Alex Hennessey received a Silver Award in Level 1 Repurpose & Redesign and won. Also qualifying for nationals. Alex also competed in a State Project, where she won GOLD.

WMS Dance Team

The Woodside dance girls left it all on the floor and scored 4th place in hip hop Junior high AAA for the state of Indiana at the Indianapolis fair grounds this past Sunday. Great end to the jazz and hip hop season!

The final competition will be for regional and state ensemble in Crawfordsville on Saturday, March 8th for the small group of Kili Nelson, Addison Ehinger, and Clara Blundall. Good luck ladies!

Wrestling WINS Charger Classic!

This past weekend the WMS Wrestling team won the Charger Classic for first time in school history. They also defeated Summit last night at Homestead winning 90 - 17!

Class Act Show Choir

Class Act put on an amazing show on Friday February 28th against some difficult competition and came in 4th overall at Huntington North. They have their last competition this season on Friday the 7th at Churubusco. Come see Class Act perform at 8:30pm. Let's Go Class Act!

Honor Roll Celebration

On Wednesday, March 19th, students who earned all A's or A/B's from Jan. 7th to March 14th will be recognized during their lunch block with a certificate and a cookie, compliments of the Woodside PTC.

The SACS Education Foundations is excited to continue the SACS Superstar Award for the 2024-2025 school year. This program allows students, families, and employees to nominate ANY SACS employee who has gone above and beyond to serve our SACS community. The foundation will recognize one employee each month from September through May with a $250 award.

HHS Summer Overseas Field Trip

Attention 8th Graders!

Hi families,

Mrs. Busch, here, from Homestead HS. I wanted to extend an exciting opportunity happening this July! We will be traveling to the Dominican Republic with EF Tours, our educational partner. It will be a jam-packed trip with whitewater rafting, ziplining, snorkeling, local cuisine, and fascinating historical landmarks!
