Welcome to Corley Elementary! I am Mrs. Aleshia Duckworth, and I am truly honored to serve as your principal this school year. Our dedicated staff and I are committed to providing your children with a world-class education that sets them up for academic success.

Our theme this year is "IMPACT" because we are working with you to make a positive impact on each and every student at Corley Elementary. This includes academically, socially, and emotionally.

Thank you for making Corley Elementary such an awesome place for our students to learn! At Corley Elementary, we believe in supporting the whole child, and we achieve this through engaging teaching practices. Our curriculum focuses on the Science of Reading, Balanced Numeracy, and inquiry-based Science and Social Studies lessons. We understand that each child is unique, and we aim to foster their growth and development in a nurturing environment.

In addition to our comprehensive academic program, we are proud to offer a wide range of Specials courses that enrich your child's learning experience. From Social Emotional Learning to Art, Music, Theatre, Physical Education, Computer Science, STEM, and Health, we aim to provide a well-rounded education.

Throughout the school year, we will organize various community events, fostering a strong sense of belonging and togetherness. We also offer a plethora of clubs and extracurricular activities, ensuring that every student has opportunities for exploration and personal growth.

We are thrilled to introduce the 2024-2025 Corley Administrative Team! Each member of our team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we are all excited to support every Corley student and staff member this year. Together, we look forward to fostering an environment of growth, learning, and success.

Principal Duckworth is proud to serve as Corley Elementary's principal. With over seven years of leadership experience in the Berkmar Cluster, she looks forward to making a significant impact with the Corley Scholars.

We are excited to welcome Assistant Principal Dana Booker to the administrative team. She brings a wealth of knowledge to our school and looks forward to supporting 1st and 2nd grades, the Multi-Lingual Program, and Title I.

Children need healthy meals to learn. Gwinnett County Public Schools offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs $1.75; lunch costs $2.50 for elementary and $2.75 at middle and high schools. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced-price meals. The reduced price is $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch. The links below will provide you with more details, as well as the application.

Corley Elementary is thrilled to announce a new opportunity for parents with children aged birth to five! We are fortunate to have Ms. Rosa Barton, one of our exceptional teachers, leading the way as our Play2Learn instructor for the 2023-2024 school year.
