Those juniors that registered and paid for the DigitalPSAT by September 9th will be taking the PSAT exam at IBW on Oct. 16 at IBW. Registration is closed as the CollegeBoard registration deadline is past. No additional students can be added. The PSAT will be the only exam that day as the PreACT has been postponed.
October 16 will now be a full school day (previously early release) and we will be on an 8 period day. Students taking the PSAT exam will have lunch after the exam followed by periods 5-8. More specifics about the exam will come out shortly. All students must take the exam using their PPS chromebook.
Have questions, please contact VP Scott Burns at sburns@pps.net or Admin. Asst. Abby Menashe at amenashe@pps.net.
All past communications regarding the PreACT/PSAT can be found here.
Sophomores - PreACT Postponed
As you know, PPS was planning to hold PreACT testing for all sophomores on October 16. Due to a legal name change with ACT, Inc., there is a delay with the state's ability to hold the PreACT for sophomores beginning in October. The District is canceling the PPS PreACT test date of October 16th and PPS will work on scheduling an alternate date later in the school year. October 16 will now be a full school day (previously early release) and we will be on an 8 period day.
Have questions, please contact VP Scott Burns at sburns@pps.net or Admin. Asst. Abby Menashe at amenashe@pps.net.
