Emerson Wins the FHS 5th & 6th Basketball Tournament for the second year in a row.
Emerson defeated the combined team from Salk/Twain Elementarys by a score of 12-8

RED RIBBON MONTH POSTER WINNERS!
We continue to celebrate Red Ribbon Month! This year's theme is “Life is a Movie, Film Drug Free.” Red Ribbon Month is a month during which people, schools, and communities unite and take a visible stand against drugs. During HEART class students have been focusing on healthy habits and choices. Students have pledged to live a drug-free life. Emerson had 4 Poster Contest Winners.

We are excited to embark on the creation of our 2025-2030 Strategic Plan—a roadmap that will shape the next five years of excellence in Fraser Public Schools. Evan is Pawsome this year for his contagiously positive attitude, constant effort in class no matter what the activity, and is a kind friend to all. He shows responsibility by keeping the class clean. Evan also loves to showcase his creativity in art by kindly making decorations for our class!

Alicyn shows how Pawsome she is by always being kind and empathetic. She plays safely and follows the rule and expectations and participates in every lesson! Alicyn also loves to spend time being helpful to other students in class.

Shenouda is in his second year of band and is a rockstar trombonist! He comes to class prepared and is an enthusiastic student. He is kind and respectful to those around him and is always doing his very best. Shenouda is a PAWSOME student through and through!

This month Pawsome student is Carter Maschinski. Carter has shown all the aspects of being a Pawsome student for this month. He is always ready to learn and always participates in class discussions. Carter is always asking for help and clarification to make sure he is doing his work correctly. Carter shows respectfulness in the classroom by listening to directions and listening to his classmates when they are talking. Additionally, he shows kindness to everyone in my classroom. I am so proud of his PAWsome work!

This month’s Pawsome student is Evelyn Prong. Evelyn has shown many aspects of being a Pawsome student for this month. She is always kind and sweet to everyone around her. She is willing to put in effort to try and learn new things in school. She is willing to help me in any way she can. She is a dedicated and hardworking student. Evelyn is always paying attention in class and gets her work done. I am so proud of her success so far in fourth grade.

Lucas Vaughn
In room 108, Lucas consistently demonstrates responsibility, respect, and kindness. He takes pride in his work. Lucas listens carefully when others share their thoughts, treating everyone with respect. His kindness shines through when he helps out others. Always trying his best, Lucas inspires those around him to do the same, creating a positive atmosphere in the classroom. We are so glad to have him as a part of our classroom family!

In room 108, Mia stands out for her responsibility, respect, and kindness. Showing her PAWS every day, she is a great role model to those around her. Mia listens attentively when others speak and shares the spirit of kindness. Mia helps make our classroom a warm and welcoming place for everyone. We are so glad to have her in our classroom family!

Nolan is Pawsome because he has shown consistent positive behavior at school. Nolan has a cheerful attitude and is always respectful to others. Nolan actively participates in his learning and approaches challenges with perseverance. Way to go, Nolan!

Mariah is off to a great start in Kindergarten! She is a sweet, kind student who always has a smile on her face. Her positive attitude makes her a fantastic role model for her classmates. Mariah loves helping others and consistently puts forth her best effort in everything she does.

NOTE TIME CHANGE! HALLOWEEN PARADE OCTOBER 31ST @ 10:25AM
On Thursday, October 31st, students will be celebrating Halloween. This is an EARLY RELEASE DAY and students are dismissed at 1:30 P.M. Our school-wide parade will begin at 10:25 A.M. and we will parade through the neighborhood. Parents are welcome to stand around the parade route. We will be walking down Admiral (west) and making the loop around to come back to the school.
All students must come to school in regular school clothes on October 31st. Students can wear light Halloween makeup to school that day (eyeshadow, painted freckles, rosy cheeks, etc.). All makeup and hair products must stay home from school that day. Students will be able to change into their costumes prior to the parade.
Make sure to adhere to the following rules:
1. Masks are not to be worn in school or during the parade.
2. HEAVY makeup is not to be worn (light makeup only-eyeshadow, painted freckles, rosy cheeks, etc.)
3. Glitter and fake blood are not to be worn or brought to school.
4. Fake or real weapons are not to be brought to school, i.e., swords, guns, knives, daggers, and the like.
5. Inappropriate costumes are not to be worn to school. Please choose costumes that are positive and/or represent a good role model for our students.
6. No roller blades, roller blade shoes, skateboards or scooters.
7. No bare midriffs.
8. Please use common sense and good judgement when sending your child to school on October 31st.
