West Oxford Owl
May 17, 2024
This week we had a crowd of 3rd-5th grade mothers join us for the last breakfast of the year. It was so good to see all of your smiling faces and hear from Ms. Amy Rice, testing coordinator about preparing your students for the end of grade tests. She referenced this presentation, which can help families better understand the testing format and expectations. Kindergarten released their butterflies into our garden, and we hope to see them around! We had an assembly by the Dancing Drum, and all of our Kindergarten through second grade students got to be in the band. It was awesome!
As we get close to the end of the year, please make sure that we are eating a good breakfast and getting a good night's sleep. We still have lots of learning to do over the next three weeks. This next week we will have an opportunity to hear from Dr. Winborne on Thursday night at the Expo to talk about the District's Strategic Plan.
We have all kinds of wonderful events planned between here and the end of the year! Please join us!
