Fall Fundraiser Funds - Survey Open Until Tomorrow
At the PTO meeting last month, we discussed several options for where we would like to see the funds from the fundraiser spent. Please take time to share with us your thoughts. To provide CME families an opportunity to have a voice in improvements at school, the PTO researched numerous ideas from parents and staff over the years and presented it in this SLIDE DECK. Please check it out, and cast your VOTE HERE by tomorrow. If you have any other ideas, please feel free to email us at cmeapto@gmail.com.
Fall Teacher Conferences Next Week
Our teachers are working hard to prepare for fall conferences next week, and we love to spoil them and keep them nourished during this week to thank them for their hard work.
We would love your help!
Please SIGN UP HERE if you are able to volunteer your time to set up or clean up the lounge one day or bring in some treats!
You will also be seeing a paper leaf come home in your child’s Thursday folder today. This is to write something nice about your teacher, or an encouraging word, and will be displayed on a tree in the lounge, with their snacks. Please return your leaves to the school as soon as possible, either to your teacher or to the front office.
Please contact Heather at cmeapto@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to help set up or clean up in the staff lounge and haven’t already signed up.

Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students): Ongoing
Watch D.O.G.S. is a program that gives dads the opportunity to spend either a half or whole day in the building with their children. You will help in classrooms and go to lunch and recess with your child.
The purpose of the program:
- To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is essential.
- To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying. All dads are encouraged to be a Watch D.O.G.S. Dad at least once a year.
KING SOOPERS CARDS
One of our biggest and easiest fundraisers has proven to be King Soopers Cards. In just over a year our total donation received is in excess of $15,000. If you haven’t registered your rewards number (phone number) yet, please do so, it’s quick and easy and a great way to earn funds for our school. This money helps us to pay for teacher and school grants and host some of our events.
