Consent Forms for 2024-25
EICS Consent forms for the 2024-2025 school year, are now available for you to complete and submit, for each of your children attending an Elk Island Catholic School. The form is found online in your PowerSchool Parent Portal. ONLY HALF of our families have completed this form.
These forms are a mandatory document and is required to be updated for every student each year, and is needed especially for local field trips as there is a digital permission form that is required for students to use our STMN buses or to go on off campus nature and prayer walks.
Take a look at the screenshots above if you need help or contact our school secretary, Fronde Dubuc at (780) 632-2266, if you have any questions or require assistance.

π Fire Drill at St. Martin's Catholic School: Learning Fire Safety π§―
This past week, St. Martin's Catholic School conducted a fire drill to ensure our students and staff are well-prepared in case of an emergency. Fire drills are an important part of our safety procedures, helping students understand how to respond quickly and calmly in the event of a fire.
Teaching fire safety at school empowers students to act confidently and follow the necessary steps to protect themselves and others. These regular drills not only practice evacuation routes but also reinforce the importance of awareness, preparedness, and responsible behavior during emergencies.
Safety is always a top priority at St. Martin's, and we're proud of how well our students handled today's drill!

πππ Free Hot Dog Lunch Day - Sept 13th πππ
We have some funds left from last year's donation to supply some free lunches for our students! This year we will have one free hot dog every SECOND FRIDAY, starting Sep 13. Parent volunteers are needed in order to make this work. Please fill out this GOOGLE FORM if you are able to volunteer your time a few Fridays out of the year. Amberliegh MacRae is our parent organizer and will contact you to see what days are available. Thank you so much for all your help!
Terry Fox Run - Sept. 27th
Terry Fox Shirt Order Forms Live on PowerSchool. Deadline to order is Monday Sep 9.
This yearβs campaign, called #NoMatterWhat celebrates Terryβs determination and persistence. When running his Marathon of Hope in 1980 he faced many challenges along the way, but he kept going β no matter the obstacles, no matter the journey, no matter the odds - NO MATTER WHAT. We know that schools coast to coast to coast will carry on his legacy to raise funds for cancer research and display their amazing βNoMatterWhatβ efforts for this yearβs Run.
