IMPORTANT: DEVICE GUIDELINES AND RESPONSIBLE TECHNOLOGY USE
PPS provides all students with access to the Internet, district approved digital resources, and devices. Students at designated grade levels have access to devices as a means to provide learning opportunities and engagement during their educational experience. This document provides guidelines and limitations that the school may impose on the use of these resources. At the beginning of next school year parents/guardians will be asked to sign this form. The form will only need to be signed one time per a student's academic career with PPS. Signing these guidelines signifies compliance with Board Policies 8.60.041-AD and 8.60.045-AD required for use of any school computer or laptop, as well as compliance with Responsible Technology Use.
PLEASE NOTE:
1) CHROMEBOOK REPLACEMENT FEE $515: Students will need to pay to replace their chromebook (if lost or damaged) $515. Replacement chargers are $12.
2) PARENT/GUARDIAN CONSENT: Parent/Guardian must provide one-time consent for each student to use District software and resources. This can be done in ParentVUE in the Online Registration or Yearly Verification screen.
