Ms. Worley's Art Room
Back to School 2024-2025
Meet Ms. Worley
This will be my fourth year in the St. Louis Public School District and my seventh year teaching art all together. I am thrilled to be back again and ready to explore all the amazing art here in St. Louis with the students. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education with a minor in art education at the University of Central Missouri. UCM has a nationally accredited art program; and with this, I am looking forward to creating many fun art projects together!

Dear Parents and Families,
I would like to welcome you and your child to the Art room for this 2024-2025 school year. I am SO excited to continue to grow our art skills and am looking forward to seeing all the future creations that will be made!
This will be my seventh year teaching art. I previously taught for three years at a school near Kansas City - then decided to move closer to home. St. Louis is a wonderful city that is filled with art everywhere. I am so happy to be able to teach here and explore with the students! As an art teacher, my mission in life is to be fair, nurturing, and empathetic. I love to involve laughter and the arts in everyday life - while being a role model for kindness, joy, and understanding. It is my goal to create this caring environment inside the art room - as we make our very own art!
Students will have opportunities to experiment with different materials; such as watercolors, tempera paint, oil pastels, and more this year! We will learn about different artists from all around the world, many different art styles, and I look forward to showing off student’s art around the whole school! However, in order for us to have more time focused on creating, there are some expectations for our art room. This year we will be focusing on the Heart in art:
Honesty
- To speak or act truthfully, no matter the outcome
Empathy
-To understand the feelings of others
Accountability
-To demonstrate the power to own your actions
Respect
-To treat yourself and others with kindness
Tenacity
-To keep going even when things get tough
We will go over this together in class and practice. I look forward to a great school year of getting to know this community and having fun creating with everyone! You may always reach me at: jenna.worley@slps.org
See you soon,
Ms. Worley
