Title 1 Survey
The following link is a 4 question survey about parent involvement at Opequon Elementary. We would like your feedback about what types of parent involvement you would like to see at your child's school and what time of day works best for you. Thank you!
Great Things Are Happening in our School
The Energy Bus for Schools
Mrs. Myers is reading The Energy Bus for Schools to her second grade classroom. All of our students will hear this story this year.
Meet our school nurse, Blythe Burner
I am excited to be the new School Nurse for Opequon Elementary! I thoroughly enjoy caring for children and tending to their medical needs—big or small. I have been a registered nurse for close to 15 years and bring experience in nursing education, obstetrics/pediatrics, adult care, and urgent care. Don’t hesitate to reach out with school health needs for your child(ren). Looking forward to the school year!
Parent Pick-up Line
Our parent pick-up is working better. Most families have a car tag now. Thank you for not arriving until 3 pm in the school parking lot. We still have some parents lining up on Duke Street prior to 3 pm. This is causing a traffic jam for vehicles going in and out of the adjacent neighborhood. Please plan accordingly, so we are not holding up traffic.
