It’s Stuff the Bus once again!
Our local United Way continues to help our
classrooms by providing a $100 VISA gift card for each classroom at our school. It
takes a lot to get ready for the school year. Backpacks, notebooks, pencils,
calculators — and that doesn’t include the things teachers need to keep a well-run
classroom, like tissues, wipes, paper towels and more. United Way’s Stuff the Bus
program helps our students and teachers start the year off strong.
United Way’s goal is to sponsor every elementary school classroom in Gratiot &
Isabella Counties — that’s 516 classrooms! If you’re interested in sponsoring your
child’s classroom, please visit www.uwgic.org/bus to learn more and donate!
Thank you for your support!

Keep the Huskies Healthy!
Unfortunately as we head into colder months, the number of illnesses rise. If your student is ill, please keep them home. Promptly call the school with any symptoms your child is experiencing (fever, vomiting, sore throat, body ache, cough) and keep them home until they're symptom free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducers. If you take your student to the doctor for their symptoms, please have your student turn in the doctor's note to the office when they return to school. This will ensure the absence does not negatively affect them for truancy purposes.
