Hello Fox Families!
Welcome back to a new and exciting school year! As we open our doors once again, we are filled with enthusiasm and anticipation for the journey ahead. Our commitment to fostering a nurturing and academically engaging and challenging learning environment for your children remains steadfast, and we are dedicated to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This year, we have many exciting initiatives and programs planned that will enhance family and community experiences, supporting our shared goal of creating a strong, collaborative, and vibrant school community. We look forward to partnering with you and making this school year the best one yet!
As the new school year approaches, I wanted to send a short bulletin to share some helpful information to help you start to prepare for the first day of school. Our team is working diligently to prepare for the upcoming academic year, and we can't wait to welcome back our Cubs in the fall. Keep an eye out for a hard copy of the August newsletter which includes more details, such as updated procedures, fun upcoming fall events, and other information necessary for a successful year.

Meet the Teacher
š¦Please remember to obtain a car rider decal at the Meet the Teacher event if you plan to pick up your child after school. For the safety of our students and to ensure we are following custody orders diligently, cars without a decal in the dismissal line will need to loop around and enter the office to present a government-issued ID. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
š¦School supply packs and spirit shirts will be on sale at Meet the Teacher. Please bring cash or check.
š¦Please park in the rear parking lot (on Frassati) and enter through the cafe.
Annual Student Information Update
The annual information update is required for all current students to ensure each student has a schedule and teachers assigned prior to the first day of school.

Volunteer for Bus Buddies!
We are excited to let you know that Bus Buddies is back this school year. This is a great opportunity to have our wonderful volunteers on campus in Klein ISD to support our educators and students on the first three days of school.
What is the Bus Buddies Program?
Bus Buddies is a partnership between volunteers and Klein ISD to provide assistance to elementary students to help them get off of the bus at the correct location. This program requires one "Bus Buddy" per elementary bus the first three days of school (August 14 - 16, 2024). This approximate time commitment is from 2:45 - 5:00 PM. PS - ALL KLEIN ISD BUSES ARE AIR-CONDITIONED!!
Please review the available slots on the sign up below and click on the button to sign up.
Thank you so much!
Take Advantage of the SMART Tag Parent Features
The SMART tagā¢ system helps increase safety and security for students riding on a school bus, leveraging technology to improve student management and communications on school buses. SMART tagā¢ monitors the location of each tablet-equipped school bus, including student loading and unloading, providing real-time information to the Transportation Department, and you, the parent.

Cell Phones/Electronic Devices
The district permits students to possess personal cell phones for safety purposes; however, these devices must remain turned off and put away during the instructional day, including during all testing.
If a student uses an electronic device during the school day, the device will be taken to the office. The parent may pick up the device from the principalās office. This includes watches.
Notes from the Clinic
If your child will need a prescribed medication while at school, there has been a change to Klein ISD procedures. Prescribed medications will need a written order by a licensed healthcare provider. Clinic staff will not be able to use the prescription label as proof of the written medical order, as in the past. The licensed healthcare provider can use the Klein ISD Medication Authorization form, an action plan, or a letter from their office to provide their signed consent. If you have any questions, please contact our school clinic at 832-375-8909.
