EWU and WSU Onsite Admissions
On Thursday, November 21st, WSU and EWU registrars were on campus offering on-site admissions to attend WSU and EWU. The on-site admissions process is a new system the WSU and EWU have in place to minimize the heartache in the admissions process. As long as the student is in good standing with credits, has a good GPA, and is eager to attend the school, the student is admitted into the University for the 2025 school year. LRHS had 13 students meet with the registrars and be accepted in to WSU or EWU university for the 2025 school year!
LRHS is a Nourishing Champions Award Winner!
In June of the 2023-24 school year, we applied and were awarded a $15,000 grant to provide nutritional snacks for our athletic program. After many weeks of planning, the LRHS winter sports season athletes will benefit from this program. Students in our health science class Sports Medicine worked with a local dietitian to determine the best nutritional snacks for athletes during pre- and post-contests. Through their work and that of our Life Skills class, we will be offering a Bronco Refueling Station for athletes to visit before every away event. Snack bags will include protein drinks, gatorade packets, beef and cheese sticks, trail mix, protein bars, bananas, oranges, goldfish crackers, and more.

Students of the Week: Kayden Kuykendall for having a great work ethic and positive attitude in his agriculture classes. He constantly strives to have work completed, on time, while showing a genuine interest in the course material.
Teacher Shout-Outs: Lori Sanderson for all the dedication and hard work in helping our students earn top ten placements in the state potato judging competition last week. Congratulations!
