The Challenge
Add a personalized video to your students work within their google documents to provide quick feedback for individual/group work (GREAT FOR AUDITORY LEARNERS)! Or, create a video to go along with a presentation (for example: google slide) that you would like to have your students learn from!
Directions for creating a Movenote Education Presentations on Google Drive
Go to your AppStore and download “Movenote for Education”, you can do this from any device (Macbook, iPad, cellphone, etc.).
Go to your main Google Drive page - “My Drive”.
Click the red “Create” button and scroll down to “more” until you see “MoveNote”- click on “MoveNote”.
Now it will take you to movenote.com, if this is your first time you may need to create an account.
Once you’ve created an account go into the document you’ve just created and you can start recording straight from your MacBook, iPad or whatever device you use regularly to have your video go along with your presentation.
Directions to attach a MoveNote video to give quick feedback on your student’s work (GREAT FOR AUDITORY LEARNERS!)
Go to your AppStore and download “Movenote for Education”, you can do this from any device (Macbook, iPad, cellphone, etc.).
Go to your main Google Drive page - “My Drive”.
Find your student’s work that they’ve turned into you through your google classroom.
Click the document so that it is highlighted.
Find the three vertical dots in your Drive Toolbar and click that button.
Scroll down to “Open With” - then click “MoveNote”.
Now you will be redirected to the MoveNote site where you can see the document and record your response on the student’s work.
Copy your URL after creating your video and link the URL to your student’s document. There, they will be able to go into the document at any time and go through your verbal response you’ve given them on the video and pause it at anytime while making changes/corrections to their work.
