Congrats to our 2025 Grads 🎓
Dear Lord, we ask that you surround these graduates with Your grace.
Grant them wisdom as they move forward into new phases of their lives. Fill their hearts with courage to face new challenges and opportunities.
Let them move forward with open hearts and eager minds, knowing they can call on the Holy Spirit for discretion and mature decision-making.
May they always seek Your guidance in their decisions and trust in Your plans for their future.
Amen 🙏
EICS School Bus Update for 2025 - 2026 🚍
Dear Camrose EICS Families,
Welcome to Elk Island Catholic Schools (EICS)! This message is for families in Camrose who are registering for school bus transportation with EICS for the very first time for the 2025-2026 school year.
To ensure your child has a seat on the bus, we ask that you please complete the busing registration process, as explained below.
The EICS Board of Trustees has approved the new fee structure and fees for the 2025-2026 school year. Please visit the website at Fee Schedule.
For the upcoming school year, EICS will charge student transportation fees in Camrose. We acknowledge that introducing transportation fees is a change for returning families, and we appreciate your understanding as we make this transition. This change brings Camrose in line with the transportation model used by EICS in other communities and helps to provide students with safe, reliable, and well-managed school bus service each day.
If your family requires transportation services for the upcoming school year, please follow these steps:
Log into your PowerSchool Parent Portal (please contact your child's school directly if you experience any login difficulties).
On the left-hand menu, click on “SchoolEngage - Student Forms”.
Complete the form titled “B.1) 2025-2026 Transportation Request Form” for each student who will require busing services*.
IMPORTANT: Setting up a payment plan for busing fees before July 1, 2025 will allow you to take advantage of a convenient 6-month payment schedule, starting on August 15, 2025. Completing this step early will also help secure your child’s seat on their designated bus route.
Busing fees will be applied to your Parent Portal, and you will receive an invoice on June 17, 2025. Bus route assignments will be finalized once a payment plan has been established OR upon receipt of full payment of the applicable fees.
If the cost of transportation creates added pressure for your family, a fee waiver application is also available through our website for eligible students.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this important matter.
Blessings,
EICS Transportation

Pick up and drop off areas:
PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF BUS LANES AT THE BEGINNING AND END OF OUR DAY.
Also, please make alternate plans for a pick-up/drop-off location as our staff parking lot is no longer available as an option. This area has become far too congested in the past and is an extreme OH & S concern.
Please follow the flow of traffic in the student parking lot on the south side of our building. You will notice that there is no longer a "turn left" option (right turns only) when you exit the parking lot.
Alternatively, please also look at streets/locations other than the alleys that are close to our school where students can safely access our school site.
While we understand that this takes away some convenience, we are concerned about the safety of your children.
Thank you for your attention to this.
Yearly forms:
Please take a few minutes to complete your child's demographic forms, medical forms, and all yearly consents (FOIP, tech use, field trips) on PowerSchool.
It is important that this information be kept up-to-date every year, especially if there is a change in medical status, parent/guardian/emergency contact information, and/or address.
If you need assistance with using PowerSchool - including completing and submitting yearly consent and demographic forms online - please visit the main EICS website for instructions and helpful video tutorials.
Visiting OLMP:
To ensure a safe environment for all, we kindly ask that all parents and guests sign in at the school office upon arrival. Please refrain from using side doors to enter classrooms or the gym unless it is during an authorized after-hours event.
This helps us maintain an organized environment, keep track of who is on campus, and ensures we can assist you promptly.
Thank you for your support and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our school community.
Technology requirements at OLMP:
OLMP School is a 1:1 technology school.
This means students from grades 5 - 12 should have a fully charged device available daily.
As stated in the handbook:
Students should bring their devices to class with the following criteria:
- 6 hours of battery life
- Internet access (Chrome browser preferred)
- Google apps for education downloaded
- Minimum screen size of 7 inches and physical keyboard
Thank you for supporting their learning by reminding your child to charge and bring their technology daily.
Reporting absences:
Student absences can be reported through the Parent Portal on PowerSchool:
Single day absence:
Multi-day absence:
PowerSchool can also be used to view grades and report cards, pay fees, and update student information (including medical information).
You can view the EICS Parent Technology Handbook for further details on these items.
Our Elk Island Catholic Schools IT department is continuing to work on implementing additional features, so keep an eye out in our Smores for future updates!
To access PowerSchool, please click here.
School fees:
As we approach the end of the school year, we ask that you please pay any outstanding school fees.
Fees can be viewed and paid for through the Parent Portal in PowerSchool under "Forms and Fees".
Also, please remind your student that all books need to be returned as soon as they are done with them. Grade 9 – 12 books need to be transferred to Blessed Carlo Acutis High School, so it is imperative all students hand in their textbooks on the day of their final exams.
Families registered at any of the three EICS schools in Camrose for the 2025-2026 school year can now apply for the fee waiver program:
Fee Waiver Program for 2025-2026
This form is a fillable document and can be emailed to the Secretary-Treasurer (as noted on page 3 of this document). Please contact your school if you require any assistance.
