Important Notice for Morning Drop Off at Morey
Last week, a Lowell Police officer was unable to get through our traffic. Please help us to keep everyone safe and to move traffic along each morning. There is nothing more important than the safety of our children!
It is very important to only pull up along the right hand side of the road. Please do not pull onto the left hand side of the road!
Never allow your children to get out of the car and cross the street. We have noticed some adults letting children out in the middle of the street.
The side door on Wilder Street will be locked each morning at 7:40. DO NOT let your children out of the car and send them to the door if no Morey adult is on the sidewalk. Teachers take attendance at 7:40 and your children will be marked absent if they are not in their classrooms at this time (even if they come through the side door.)
If you arrive at 7:40 or later, you need to drive to the front door, walk your child into the office, and sign them in.
Most schools have a shorter window open for drop off each morning. As a courtesy, we open our doors at 7:15 to make it easier and safer for families. With a 25-minute window for drop off, there is plenty of time to drop your child off so that they will be on time.

MORE CARS ARE PULLING OVER ON THE LEFT. THIS IS UNSAFE AND SLOWS TRAFFIC.
THE WILDER STREET DOOR CLOSES AT 7:40.
WHEN ARRIVING AT 7:40 OR LATER, AN ADULT NEEDS TO SIGN CHILDREN IN AT THE OFFICE
