St. Paul Chong Hasang Bulletin
23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
Sunday, September 8, 2024
Dear Parents and Students,
I hope you all had a wonderful and restful summer!
We are thrilled to welcome everyone back to St. Paul Chong Ha Sang.
Our first Sunday School session is this Sunday, September 8th, and we look forward to seeing you all.
The Sunday School teachers have been working diligently, preparing classrooms and participating in workshops to help deepen our children’s faith. As we embark on this journey together, we encourage parents to get involved by volunteering and staying connected. Even small contributions can make a big difference.
We anticipate a year full of blessings and are excited to watch our children grow in their faith.
Thank you for entrusting us with your children’s spiritual education.
We are committed to making this year a memorable and rewarding experience for everyone.
See you on September 8th!

A Donation to Heather's House from Our CCD PTO
We're happy to announce that the Ha-Sang Education Foundation has generously transformed the 580 volunteer hours contributed by our CCD students during the 2023-2024 school year into a donation of $1,740. This contribution has been given to Heather's House, a shelter for single mothers in Des Plaines.
We sincerely thank the students and parents for their dedication over the past year. We’re also deeply grateful to the Ha-Sang Education Foundation and Dr. Peter Paik's family for their donation, which has given our students the valuable opportunity to help others through their volunteer service.
Discontinuation of Printed English Bulletin
The printed English bulletin will be discontinued. Thank you to everyone who participated in the puzzle. For all updates and announcements from St. Paul, please check the online newsletter.

Seminarian Education Fund Collection - September 21-22
The Annual Seminarian Appeal collection will take place the weekend of September 21-22, 2024. This is an important source of funding for our ministry of priestly formation in the Archdiocese of Chicago. This appeal supports not only Mundelein Seminary, but also our college seminarians who now study at St. John Vianney College Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Your financial support helps cover the cost of their preparation, which includes tuition and fees, room and board and health insurance. Please know, too, that promoting priestly vocations is the work of the entire Church. You can help support vocations by praying for an increase in vocations, encouraging young men to consider the priesthood, praying for our seminarians, and supporting Mundelein Seminary. Please keep our seminarians in your prayers as they continue their journey toward the priesthood. On behalf of all seminarians, thank you for your generosity.
