Dear Families - Read on for the News
New Adventure Friday Communication System!
We are trying a new system for providing parents Adventure Friday information. In order to reduce the number of emails being sent, provide information earlier, and make adventure information easy to find, each grade will be provided with a link to an Adventure Friday document. Information about adventures, links to order lunches, fill out waivers, and volunteer will all be found there. We will send an email before each adventure with your student's link reminding you to check the document, but adventure information will not be included in emails anymore.
Adventure Friday lunches will need to be ordered from the link inside the document within a week in advance or you can order in advance for the whole year. If you don't order lunch and don't send a lunch on the day of the adventure, we will need to call you and ask you to bring a lunch to your student. Waivers, linked to in the document, will need to be completed before a student can participate in the adventure. Please bookmark your Adventure Friday page for easy access. Each document has a clickable table of contents so you can easily find the adventure information you are looking for.
Adventure Friday document links will be sent out soon. For assistance using your Adventure Friday document, email Isaac Ries (iries@palouseprairieschool.org) or David Herbold (dherbold@palouseprairiesschool.org) or contact the office at 208-882-3684.

Enrollment Lottery
The enrollment lottery application for next school year is now available on our website. If a family has other students, not currently enrolled, that they hope to enroll at PPCS, they will need to complete a lottery application for those students. The application deadline is Thursday, March 28 at 10:00 a.m. The lottery will be held on Friday, March 29 at 10:00 a.m. The public is welcome to attend. School tours for prospective families will be held on Friday, February 16, Friday, March 1, and Wednesday, March 27. All tours will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday tour attendees may arrive at 8:40 to attend Community Circle beforehand. Attendees should RSVP for the tour by emailing their name, tour date and phone number to the office.
2024-2025 Returning Students
In February, an Intent to Return survey will be emailed to all families of currently enrolled students. Returning students are not placed in the lottery, however, families are required to complete and submit the Intent to Return to confirm whether your family will be returning to PPCS for the 2024-2025 school year. This lets PPCS know how many seats are available in the enrollment lottery.
