Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome back to another exciting year at Hampton Junior School! We do hope that you all had a lovely summer holiday and it has been wonderful talking to all the children about their different adventures and memories.

We have been very impressed with how the children have confidently settled back into school life and demonstrated their enthusiasm to impress their new teachers. We are proud to be recognised as an outstanding school but seeing the smiles on the children's faces as they walked in the gate today was a real delight.

Each year group will have a welcome meeting in the first two weeks. We would encourage parents to attend these meetings as there is a lot of information about the curriculum and behavioural expectations. Children will be able to watch a video with a member of staff in the upper hall during this time.

We are sure this will be another brilliant year for us to celebrate .

We have had a request from the Manager at Linden Hall to remind parents not to park on their premises when picking up or dropping off their child at HJS. Last year the community transport was blocked in and they were unable to enter or exit their site.

Your consideration is appreciated when parking in the roads surrounding HJS and we would ask you to be mindful of not parking across resident's properties and also parking safely. Parking Officers are in force and are in regular attendance in the surrounding areas.

For the safety of your child and others, we would respectfully remind you that parking directly outside the school to drop your child off, stopping on the zebra crossing or parking on the zig zag lines outside the school is strictly prohibited.

Your child's Arbor account has now been updated as per the information shared in the new pupil information form.

We would ask that you kindly keep this information updated at all times either via the app or via the school office if you are unable to do so.
