🌸🎉 Welcome back, Scorpion Families! We hope your spring break was a blast! As we jump back into the school routine, we're buzzing with excitement! Our students are confidently tackling state testing and showing off their brilliance.
But guess what? The fun doesn't stop there! Our LEGO Robotics and Slime booth stole the show at the Chandler Innovation Fair, clinching a fabulous $500 for the City of Chandler competition! 🏆🎉 It's a testament to the amazing creativity and skills of our students, and we couldn't be prouder!
Furthermore, our bucket drum concert was a resounding success, with sixth-grader Isaac's drum solo stealing the show. 🥁 This display of musical talent showcased the dedication and hard work of our students, leaving the audience in awe.
And that's not all! Students who met the American Heart Association's Heart Challenge and completed Finn's Mission got to Silly String Coach Kay, Mr. Russnak, and Ms. Chinchilla. 🎈🎊 This was a hilarious celebration of their hard work and dedication.
This achievement wouldn't have been possible without your unwavering support! Let's keep this momentum going and make the rest of the school year just as incredible! 🚀📚✨
Silly String Fun!
Way to Go Scorpion CIF Robotics!
Oompa Loompa & Violet Beauregarde

Sixth Grader Issac Flores steals the show with his Drum Solo!
Testing Season Has Begun
Parents and Guardians of 3rd - 6th graders, state testing has begun! Please ensure plenty of rest, healthy breakfasts, and positive attitudes. Remind your child that their best effort counts most. The testing calendar is subject to change; teachers will notify you via Dojo of any adjustments. Let's support our students as they demonstrate their knowledge and skills! 📝🍎🌟
Solor Eclipse, April 8, 2024
On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will traverse North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. According to NASA, following this event, the next total solar eclipse visible from the contiguous U.S. will occur on August 23, 2044. During a total solar eclipse, the Moon moves between the Sun and Earth, completely obscuring the Sun’s face. As a result, the sky darkens, resembling dawn or dusk. A partial solar eclipse occurs when the alignment of the Earth, Moon, and Sun is not perfectly straight, allowing part of the Sun to remain visible, creating a crescent-like appearance. On April 8th, residents of Arizona will witness a partial solar eclipse (approximately 70% obscuration of the sun) see timeline below.
As a district we are requiring that a permission form is signed by a parent/ guardian for a student to observe the Eclipse in a safe manner.
