Update on Our Schoolwide Goals
In August, we announced three schoolwide goals for the 2024/25 school year. Here's a snapshot of our progress at the halfway point.
1. Improve Attendance to 95%
- We increased overall attendance for 3/4 months compared to last school year.
- 48% reduction in staff referrals compared to last school year.
- We've initiated and held our first round of study in implementing researched-based instructional practices with a plan to stay the course for the remainder of 2024/25.
ONE MORE TIME...Local Accountability Control Plan (LCAP) Survey
It's time again to resurvey our stakeholders! The LCAP is a three-year plan that outlines how a school district will use its funding to improve student outcomes. This year is the beginning of another cycle and we NEED parent input. Please click LTUSD 2024-2025 LCAP Survey - Parent, Community Member to share your voice! Thank you.
Update: Automated Weekly Progress Reports are Coming
Starting with the SECOND WEEK of the Spring Term, all parents will receive a progress report each week. Here's a sample progress report provided by Aeries.
- Each parent will have their own specific day/time their email and text is sent (this is created at random during the initial set up).
- Parents will then have the option to modify the day and time they are set to receive the emails and texts.
- Parents will also have the option to opt out of the notification entirely.
- Notifications will contain current attendance and gradebook information.
We designed this to make it easier for parents to stay informed about their student's progress. We believe parents will appreciate receiving a simple update directly, eliminating the need to navigate complex platforms like Aeries or Canvas.
Proud to be a VIKE!
