Using the VB-MAPP
Assessment & Instructional Programming to Build Language
Please join the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's Training and Consultation Team for this three-day, in person training series.
Participants will learn how to administer the assessment, interpret results, and design instructional programming.
Follow up support in the district is available to teams to ensure effective practices are in place and address individual student programming needs.
Participant Information
Intended Audience: Special education teachers, interventionists & coaches, speech language pathologists, and/ or special education liaisons supporting students with autism or other developmental delays that have an interested in expanding their understanding of how to use explicit instruction and applied behavior analysis methodology to target academic and language skill development.
Intended Audience Grade Levels: K-5
Act 48 Hours:
- 15 (fifteen) Act 48 hours will be available upon completion of this training series.
- Participants MUST attend all sessions in the series to receive credit. No partial Act 48 will be awarded.
Cost: There is no cost to attend this training series.
Registration Priority: Educators who work for LEAs in the AIU3 region will have priority registration.

Participants are encouraged to come to the training with a copy of the VB-MAPP guide and protocol books.
