As a reminder, 6th grade students will be attending the Skyline field trip with their advisory classes/teams on the following dates:

Unless you had requested a school lunch on your child’s permission slip, please be sure your student brings a sack lunch (preferably with all disposable items) and water bottle. Please check the forecast and remind your student to dress accordingly.

This summer, all student learning devices will be replaced district-wide. This is the scheduled replacement of devices, which occurs every four years. Please prepare to return all district-provided equipment, including device, charger, cord, and protective case. See the dates below.

Attention 6th and 7th graders interested in playing RMS Football (7th/8th grade) next school year - you will be receiving a Google Interest Form to fill out in your school email in the next few days. To stay updated with the latest information over the summer, please join the RMS Football BAND APP

Builders Club finished making blankets for the homeless as this year's service project. We have 13 blankets for the MCREST Homeless Shelter for Women and Children and a good supply of games, puzzles, and art supplies to be donated to the Rec Room. The club used a generous $500 donation from the Kiwanis CLub for the blanket materials and the students used fundraising proceeds for the Rec Room supplies.

You can download Edulog Parent Portal, a new app that allows you to track your child's bus to and from school in real time. To subscribe, you will need to provide your student's name, birth date, school, and student ID number. Parent Portal Lite is available in the Google Play Store or iOS App Store. Use of this app is optional. Please contact the Transportation Department at (586) 752-0267 with questions.

Each trimester teachers at RMS select students that exemplify "Be Romeo". They are recognized for being accepting, responsible, and engaged. Please see the following PDF to see the students who were chosen for this trimester.

Runny noses are on the rise with allergy season approaching. If you can send in a box of tissues with your student we would greatly appreciate it.
