Picture Retakes
Fairfield Middle School will be having it's picture retakes on November 14th in the middle school commons. In case your student is in need of having their pictures retaken, or if they were absent on the first picture day, they will have the opportunity to have them taken. Mark the day in your calendars and start practicing your smiles!
Listen to the Music!
Celebrate Libertyville Event
Our very own FMS Marching Band performed during the October 26th Celebrate Libertyville Day Parade! The Band had practiced for weeks outside and inside to prepare for their performance. Thank you to Band Instructor, Danae Coleman, for her guidance and instruction and finding opportunities for our students to help support the greater Fairfield area!
Leadership in Action!
Iowa Student Leadership Conference
Our 8th grade student council members attended the Iowa Student Leadership Conference in Ames! They got to listen to the "Amazing" Tei Street and participated in some amazing breakout sessions. They are excited to bring back their new ideas and energy back to FMS! Thank you for representing Fairfield Middle School!
Homework Club
This year we are offering students an opportunity to get caught up on missing assignments on our 2:00 dismissals on Fridays during our Homework Club! Each week, Mrs. Marten will communicate with parents of students who need to stay after school. Then, she will set up students with an FMS staff member to assist until 3:30 with the goal to provide students time to complete their assignments and stay caught up in their classes. Be sure to be on the lookout for communication from Mrs. Marten!
No School Dates
FMS will not have school on the following dates:
November 18th - 19th: Professional Development Days
November 27th - 29th: Thanksgiving Break
