March Food Share Food Drive
Edgewood's Eagle Leaders is hosting a food drive to benefit the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf from March 3 - April 3. The Ralph Reeder Food shelf is currently providing food and other resources to over 1200 families each month and is giving out over 80,000 pounds of food. A percentage of the pounds and dollars that we raise will be matched by the GMCC for what we collect between March 1st and April 6th. The more pounds of food and hygiene items we collect, the larger the bonus from Minnesota Foodshare. Here is a link with more information on the campaign Minnesota Food Share.
Eagle Leaders will collect food donations from each first period classroom on Thursday, March 6, March 13, and April 3 after school. Below is a list of the most needed items. There is also a food collection box in the office and monetary donations are also accepted and can be left with the front office staff. You can also donate online at https://communityed.mvpschools.org/food/ralph-reeder.
Our support helps to ensure that our neighbors in need have access to nutritious food and support. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Solheim at sandra.solheim@moundsviewschools.org. Thank you for your support of our food drive!
