Dear Hayes Families,

It was a great week here at Hayes! This week marked the start of the MSTEP state assessments for 3rd and 4th grade students. We are incredibly proud of the focus, effort, and perseverance students have shown. Testing will continue in the coming weeks. Families are encouraged to help children get plenty of rest and arrive at school on time.

Please note that there will be no school on Friday, April 18th.

📣 Attention Incoming Kindergarten and Young 5s Families
An email will be sent next Friday with important details about the upcoming Kindergarten and Young 5s Round-Up. This message will include everything needed to prepare for this exciting milestone.

Garden of Talents – April 29th

Mark your calendars! Our Garden of Talents spring event will take place on Tuesday, April 29th from 5:30–7:00 p.m. This special evening will include an art show, music concerts by our Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students, along with other celebrations of student creativity and learning. We can’t wait to see you there!

Mobile Dentist Visit – April 23 & 24
The Mobile Dentist will be visiting Hayes on Wednesday, April 23rd and Thursday, April 24th. Permission slips were sent home last week. If you would like your child to participate, please return the completed form as soon as possible.
