HERO AWARDS
Every year, each grade level team of teachers selects one student from their grade level for the Meadowlark Hero Award. A Meadowlark Hero is a student who exemplifies the positive character traits that will make a successful student/person in life. These traits include: responsibility, respect, integrity, perseverance, etc. We encourage teachers to select students who possess these AND/OR might need a boost of self-confidence and recognition.

Family Talk
May Family Talk
When summer first begins it feels like it will last forever, but if you’re like most of us, you blink and it’s gone. This summer, let’s take some time to intentionally create memories with our families! Head over to usd385.org/familytalk and grab three different Summer Bucket Lists for your whole family. One is designed specifically for elementary-aged kiddos, one for middle/high school, and one is blank so you can print and create your own list of fun ideas for summer! Challenge your family to find time to connect at least once every week, using these bucket lists to make that even easier!
5TH GRADE SUMMER READING
The Andover Central Middle School Librarian is doing a summer reading challenge. 5th grade students moving up to 6th grade can earn a treat if they turn in their paper to the Librarian at ACMS at the beginning of the school year!
Checks sent to the office need to be made out to Andover Food Service (AFS)
