~ THE SCIENCE OF READING ~
Educational Equity
Now, let's learn more about Educational Equity. The ELA Team believes that all students have the right to quality instruction and all teachers have the right to quality training.
We know research shows that good readers improve at a fast pace and poor readers improve at a slower pace, aka The Matthew Effect. Be sure the students in your care this year have access to evidence-based instruction so that these gaps can close as soon as possible.
Attention Kindergarten Teachers!
Starting in the 2022 school year, all kindergartners will participate in a statewide Kindergarten Entry Assessment (KEA).
Come learn more about this ongoing formative assessment process and be prepared to gather authentic information about children's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Attend a free webinar hosted by the ADE ECE team.
There are 20 sessions between April and July, 2022.
Register for one session per person.
Limited seating per session!
See flyer for more details and to register for the session that works for you!
