Dear CRUNFamily,
We had our last PTA meeting today and want to make sure that we recognize our departing PTA board members for their selfless and undying love and support to our school. Nate Biggs has served on PTA for the past 5 years. His creativity and true devotion to our school has been evident in every word and every action step he has taken. Nate took on the donuts and muffins events and was always a force of vision and help with all of our other events. He is truly selfless and stopped at nothing to ensure that great events were put on at CRUN. Katie Busch will also be stepping down to continue her new role as our Volunteer Coordinator. Her incredible vision for the virtual talent show, auction and Fun Run as well as the countless hours of work that went into those events will never be forgotten. Craig Livorsi has served as our treasurer the last three years while attempting to maintain balance at his "real job". Craig worked hard to maintain the books, PTA budget and keep us all up to date on the health and wellness of our funds that were collected through PTA. Craig's quiet and kind disposition and steadfast number sense were a combination difficult to find in a "money guy". We are so appreciative of his dedication to our school and will miss his quiet and sweet spirit on our PTA board. Megan Noraddin has served as our fearless leader through the role of PTA president. Where Megan will still be involved, she is taking on a co-president role in order to balance serving our school with taking care of her own health. Megan has been an incredible force on our PTA board, never ceasing to amaze all of us with how she could take an idea and make it come to life, sometimes single handedly. Her undying love and commitment to our school is felt with each task she takes on as there is no such thing as mediocrity to Megan. We are so glad she will still be a part of PTA even if it is a bit more behind the scenes than it has been previously.
Parents, we hope that you will consider serving through PTA. It is truly the greatest way to get involved and make a difference at our school. Where our board is set for next year, there is ALWAYS room for any and all parents to join our monthly meetings and find out more about all things that go on at Cougar Run. You can just show up and listen, or you can inquire about smaller PTA roles that you can volunteer for. There are opportunities to get involved as little or big as you desire. Come check it out next year. We would love to see new faces. Keep your eyes peeled for details about next year's meetings and how you can join us.

A Note From Office Team
School Supplies Pre-packaged by School Tools!
We have partnered again with School Tools. Parents can order directly from School Tools by filling out the form and mailing with payment directly to them. This link has a School Tools form for each grade for next school year. If you wish to purchase your own supplies instead, please use the generic supply list which does specify brands and colors that teachers request. Thank you! Your child will bring home a bright paper with the order form on one side and the supply list on the other. You can also find the forms and lists here and print only what you need HERE!
Yearbooks
Yearbooks are coming home TODAY! If you ordered and your child did not receive their yearbook, you likely chose for it to be shipped to your home. If you forgot to purchase, there is a very small amount of extras ordered. You can purchase for $25 each at the office with cash (exact change only, we do not have change) or check made to CRUN PTA.

Lost and Found
We wanted to bring to your attention the overflowing lost and found items currently in our school. There are mountains of coats, jackets, lunch boxes, water bottles, and various other belongings that have been left unclaimed.
We kindly ask that you take a few moments to check the lost and found area to see if any of the items belong to your child. It is important to label your child's belongings with their name and contact information to prevent them from being misplaced in the future.
No Dogs on School Grounds
This one pulls on our heartstrings as we are dog people here at Cougar Run. However, the district has a strict policy about dogs not being on school grounds. The rationale is certainly rooted in safety as dogs, even on leashes, from time to time can become agitated etc and unfortunately could potentially cause harm. Allergies etc are the other safety risk so we appreciate you understanding this and helping us not have to have the awkward conversation we have to have when ask folks to take their pets off campus. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
