Welcome to your Mount Vernon Kids newsletter! We are thrilled to teach your children and eager for another week of learning, worship, play, and growing the faith within your child.

MV Kids is updated weekly with news and updates concerning the children of Mount Vernon. Information on teachers, lessons, Sunday and Wednesday activities, recognitions, and upcoming events can be found here! We hope you find this newsletter convenient and helpful.

Discuss what your child is learning as a family! Look for opportunities to apply Sunday Bible lessons and Wednesday scripture learning with your child this week!

Begins in the Sanctuary and ends in the Chapel, for School age children Kindergarten to Fifth grade.

SERVICE 11:00 AM - 11:15 AM

Children join parents and guardians for approximately the first 15 minutes of the Second Service.

During this time children learn to engage in worship as young members of Mount Vernon's community. Families should encourage manners and behaviors expected of members in our congregation during service attendance.

• Walking in the Sanctuary
• Greeting surrounding members
• Standing and sitting when prompted
• Participating in worship songs to the best of their ability

LESSON 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM

Children are escorted from the Sanctuary across the Welcome Center to the Chapel.

Ignite is a high energy youth meeting where Students enjoy games, food, fun, and a message that challenges them for the upcoming week.

Location: In the Welcome Center hall, for infants and toddlers under two years of age.

Time: 7:00 PM- 8:00 PM

The Well allows our youth to dive deep into the word of God through bible study and prayer. This is a time for deep spiritual growth as we dig into the word of God.

Meet The Pillars!

Wednesdays at 7:00PM off the Children's Hall, across from the decoration room.

This group is a community of husbands and wives with growing families, committed to encouraging one another through this time of life in marriage, parenting, family, and relationship with the Lord. We gather at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays during Children's activities for fellowship, worship, and Bible study.

Sundays at 6:00PM in the Library

Led by Jacob Losh

Men's Bible study group offers a great space for fathers and men of all ages to come together, dive into scripture, and support one another in their spiritual journey. We meet regularly to share insights, encourage one another, and grow in our faith through fellowship and study. While we're finishing our current study November 3rd, we'll be starting a new one soon- a great time to join in!

This group helps the women of Mount Vernon Baptist Church connect. We hope to strengthen our relationships with one another, and in turn strengthen our church and God’s Kingdom! We can share our joys and trials here so that we can support each other and celebrate together!
