Lake Bluff Elementary School Family Newsletter
Hello Lake Bluff Families,
It was so WONDERful (get it?) seeing our students in the character parade yesterday. Their creativity and originality was outstanding. I hope you had as much fun watching as we did! We certainly loved participating as well although we may have gone down the rabbit hole a bit. I hope you don't think we are mad.
Another exciting event is our Open House on November 7th. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to welcome family and friends into our school, showcase their classrooms, and share some of their recent learning. There is also an optional ELA Curriculum presentation in the cafetorium from 6:30-7:00 as well as the PTO Bookfair in the gym. Please see the schedule below.
For those of you who celebrate, Happy Diwali!
Finally, please be reminded their is no school for students on November 5. Don't forget to vote!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend,
Johanna French, Interim Principal

Meet our Staff
Every week we will try to showcase some important people that you may not know who contribute to the success of Lake Bluff.
Tina Binns
Ms. Binns is one of our two Administrative Assistants in the Lake Bluff office. She is the one who takes care of attendance and greets student's when they are late or checking out early. She is known to the students as the cool, nice lady in the office who has an amazing sense of style. When Ms. Binns is not at work, you can find her directing productions at Port Washington Theatre, playing video games with her husband or hanging with her two cats.
Ms. Binns's Fun Fact: Ms. Binns has a degree in theater education and has a lifetime teaching license. Talk about a woman who can do it all!
