Deerfield Updates
Hello Deerfield Families,
I hope you are all staying warm after our two unexpected snow days last week. Hopefully, the crazy weather is behind us, and we can enjoy a more predictable spring!
We have an exciting week ahead at Deerfield. Our students will have the opportunity to experience a Wildlife Encounters Assembly, where they will learn about fascinating animals and see some up close. It’s a fun and educational event, and we know they will enjoy it! Please read on for more information on this event.
On Monday, March 24, we will be holding a tornado drill as part of our safety procedures. These drills are an important way for students and staff to practice what to do in the event of severe weather, ensuring everyone is prepared and confident in our emergency plans.
Looking ahead, our 5th graders from Deerfield and Arbor Park have been working incredibly hard on their Disney Musical Production, Winnie the Pooh Kids, and their performance is just around the corner! Families are invited to join us on April 3rd for two showings at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM at Deerfield. It is a free-will donation entry. We are so proud of their dedication and can’t wait for you to see their talent shine on stage.
Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing many of you at these upcoming events!
Warm regards,
Dr. F.
