Spring is in the Air! March comes with Important Information. Please Read.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We just recently finished our Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment (OELPA) and are preparing for our state-required achievement tests that will be taking place in the months of March and April. All eligible 3rd and 4th grade students will be taking the English Language Arts and Math portions of the Ohio State Tests.
You can help your child do his/her best on the test by:
1. Making sure that your child attends school on the days of testing;
2. Making all doctor or dentist appointments during non-testing times;
3. Making sure your child gets a good night sleep before testing;
4. Providing a hot breakfast on the mornings of testing; (We also provide breakfast at school)
5. Reminding your child to ask the teacher questions if he/she does not understand the test directions;
6. Letting your child know that you have confidence in his or her ability
7. Advising your child not to worry about the test, just do the best he or she can.
Love,
Mrs. Bates

JOCO Spring Flowers Fundraiser
BLOOM Spring Flowers are coming to Rose Hill Elementary School! The BLOOM Spring Flowers program consists of this yearโs most popular flower choices. People are buying spring flowers anyway, so these products will be easy to sell! Write down your own personal order, and then please take orders from friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers.
The Rose Hill PTA works hard behind the scenes to organize fun events for the school community to enjoy. Field day, book fair, and the Santa drive through are just a few of the experiences that we have had the pleasure of putting together this year. Profits from the BLOOM flower sale will go toward hosting these types of events, plus many more in the future.
