News From the Main Office
Student Emergency forms - All students should have brought home a copy of their emergency information form this week. Please look over it and update it as needed. It is important that TPES has the most up-to-date information in case of an emergency. Please return the forms in your student's blue folder.
Attendance - If your child is going to be absent for any reason, please email Ms. Hottel-Cox (anne_m_hottel-cox@mcpsmd.org), Ms. Paz (johanna_a_paz@mcpsmd.org), and your child's teacher. Any absence includes medical appointments where your child misses part of the school day. The absence will not be excused unless TPES receives a written note, either from the parent/guardian or doctor's office - writing "medical appointment" on the sign-in sheet will not excuse the absence. If you have any questions regarding attendance policies, please contact our Attendance Secretary, Ms. Hottel-Cox.
PTA Meeting This Tuesday, September 3, 2024
The TPES/PBES PTA Meeting will be held this Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. This is a virtual meeting. The Zoom link for the meeting will be sent on Tuesday afternoon.

Get the school year started right by helping us fill the TPES bookcases. Make sure every classroom and the media center has new books and a complete collection. Have a slice of pizza, meet new friends, reconnect after the summer, and browse the collection at People’s Book for your family as well.
