C.I.T.Y. News

Everything seems up-in-the-air with school, work, and just life....but...we have each other. Having all of C.I.T.Y. of Support's awesome, in-person plans put on hold for the time being is frustrating to everyone. Our Developmental Library Playgroups, Great Therapy Playdates, Education Roundtables, and even our annual Rockin' Shoppin' Event are all shifting in structure with safety being the number one priority.

Because C.I.T.Y. has always been a place for in-person AND online support, I am grateful that our community continues to inspire others with their posts, comments, recommendations, and genuine compassion. Thank you for helping to create a place where everyone can feel welcome to participate, regardless of their relationship to a child in therapy, whether it be as a parent, therapist, or community member.

Until then, let's try our best to see the big picture; breathe in and out; and take part in the re-designed forums for social connection despite the current distancing. Our C.I.T.Y. continues to work diligently to create a strong community, and we encourage you to join in!

Join us for a casual discussion among parents, professionals, and friends who understand. We could all use some time to unwind with adults. No topic or pre-set discussion will be planned...just a format for decompressing from STRESSFUL times. All are welcome!

In order to best prepare for the size of the group, we ask that you please RSVP using the public Facebook Event Page. All those who have replied that they are "Interested" or "Going" to the event will receive a zoom link on the day of the Happy Hour by 4:00 pm. If we have large numbers of guests, we will plan to split into smaller breakout rooms in order to keep the conversation manageable. Hope you can join us!

Sign up to participate in this fun, FREE program, and your child will receive a handmade birthday card in the mail from another child who receives therapy services.
