Hello Panther Families!

Welcome back to Patterson! I am so excited to welcome you all back! We have been working hard over the summer to make loads of improvements in our school. Lots of new paint and freshly scrubbed classrooms. Shout out to our amazing custodial team Brian & Patricia and our amazing Lead Custodian Keith Martin.

We are excited to welcome back all of our amazing Patterson Staff! We also are excited for the return of former Patterson Teachers Miss. Jo in 4th grade & Ms. Unger in Intervention. Ms. Leslie Harris will be joining us in our 1,2,& 3 grade SDC class. We are thrilled to welcome our new teachers and all of our new students. In addition to new people, we also have new facilities to share. We have a sensory gym in the process of being assembled, and we have a flex room for meeting events. We have also opened our Maker Space and are very excited for our students to start creating!

Let's remember to look out for all Patterson Students to make sure that everyone is responsible and safe and feels respected.

If your child would like to bring a lunch from home they are more than welcome to. However we do provide a free regular or vegetarian option for all students. Your child needs to make sure they indicate to the teacher that they would like a lunch.

8/16 First Day of School!

8/16-8/18 Early Release at 1:33 for grades 1-5 and 11:40 for Kindergarten and 11:50 for TK Class

8/21- Our first full day of school for grades 1-5 Kinder will continue on the minimum day schedule.

8/29 Coffee Hour with the Principal at 8:45am, PBIS Positive Behavior at School & at Home

9/6 Join us for the Panther Prowl! Please help your child collect sponsorships to support the General fund for Patterson Elementary! This money will support Emergency Supplies, Teacher Training and our Incredible Art/Maker Space!

In order for all students to feel comfortable on campus we kindly request that parents stay behind the red lines at all times. TK & Kinder parents may escort only their kinder students to their doors. Kinder parents should not escort older students beyond the Kinder yard.

First Grade Parents may escort their students to and from their classes for the first three days of school.

We will have loads of amazing gifts and books for purchase in our library from 8/21-8/25. The book fair is open for 15 minutes before and 1 hour after school and students will be able to bring in money to shop on their library day.

Fremont Unified School District State Preschool applications are now available for 2023-24. It is a half-day program at several FUSD locations, and free for income-eligible families. • Patterson Y-Kids Child Care is accepting registrations for the 2023-2024 school year. We have Before and After School Child Care for TK through 5th grade. We offer enrichment learning which includes homework assistance, language arts, STEM, arts & crafts, and much more! We encourage healthy eating by providing a variety of nutritional daily snacks. If we are helping parents or students we may not be able to answer your call. Please leave a message and we will return your call within 24 business hours.
