1. What a beautiful night we had for our annual Harvest Fest! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this event so great! Thank you to all of the volunteers for their hard work making sure this event runs smoothly! The kids did a wonderful job dancing and had some great moves to show off!
2. If you have not yet signed up for Parent/Teacher conferences, please do so right away! The sign up closes Wednesday, 10/2/24!
3. We have two opportunities for you to save cooking next week!! Wednesday, 10/2 is Don & Millie's Night where 1st grade artwork will be featured! Thursday, 10/3 is La Casa Night, just a couple of miles north on 168th street! Thank you so much for supporting our school at our restaurant kick-back nights!

5. We are having some concerns with children arriving to school early. It is very important that you know that staff supervision starts outside of school at 8:15 a.m. The doors open at 8:20. When students arrive to school too early, they have the temptation to look for things to do to entertain themselves that may not meet ROAR expectations. Not all students are following the expectation of "Do the right thing, even if no one is looking", and this is a safety concern. Please be mindful of the time your children are arriving to school, and I would so greatly appreciate it if you could have a talk with your children about expectations before school.
