Fox Family Updates for the Week...
Good Evening Fox Families, this is your assistant principal Bethany Ruhlman with this week’s announcements and reminders. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
Congratulations to Mrs. Brittany Proffitt, reading interventionist, for being this week’s certified TeamLCPS MVP of the week! Congratulations, Mrs. Proffitt!
Thank you to our M-NES PTA for another successful Earth Day event! We had a great time and planted a tree in front of our school for all to see! Be sure to check out the photos below.
Congratulations to all our Foxes whose artwork was featured in the LCPS Arts Festival on Saturday. I enjoyed seeing the artwork and many of you at the event!
Last week was our final week of Extended Learning and Foxy Den for this semester.
Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will begin their end of the year SOL testing this week. This is a special time of year as our students can display their hard work from all throughout the year. On Friday, students participated in an SOL parade and pep rally activities in their classroom, where we stressed the importance of relaxing and not putting pressure on themselves but giving it their all and putting forth their best effort. As partners at home please assist us by being sure our foxes get a good rest the night before, come to school on time, and help us alleviate any unnecessary stress. This is truly their time to shine!
With Fox Pride,
Bethany Ruhlman
Your Assistant Principal
