Dismissal Safety Reminders
Important Reminders About Dismissal at MSM:
Our academic school day officially ends at 2:30 PM with a final bell. Students are not permitted to leave class or the building until that bell. This, of course, is aside from any student released early with a parent for appointments, etc. We certainly take our responsibility for the safety of our students seriously and honor that responsibility for the duration of the school day.
Students may only use MSM-designated entrances and exits to leave the building. Doors that are not MSM doors are clearly marked as such. This is an essential part of building safety that we are monitoring seriously.
Students should be using their fobs to enter the building daily. There has been an increase in students waiting for others to open the door for them or ringing the bell for entry. The correct use of the fob system helps ensure that only those authorized to be in the building are entering so it is essential that each student must locate the fob that was issued and bring it to school daily. Any missing fobs should be reported to the Main Office immediately so they can be deactivated and replaced.
