Youth Art Month
Each March, the school district celebrates Youth Art Month with an exhibit of kindergarten through 12th grade student work at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia. There will be a public reception on Sunday, Mar. 24th to honor participants and families. Please join us if you are available! You can also view the work over Spring break if you are interested!

- In the onsite TOP competition, Olivia Duever and Dominic Bielli won the award for Best Script in Broadcast On-the-Spot Feature contest. You can view their work here.
- Additionally, Ansley Guntermann earned an honorable mention for best sports broadcast story for her piece on the honorary guest coach initiative on Coach Thomas' basketball team.
- BluePrints Editor-in-Chief Sachio Goodie, News/Views Editor Daveon Montgomery, Features Editor Tristan Lankford, and Graphics Editor Jake Castile barnstormed the competition in the regional journalism quiz bowl. They earned a 1st round bye after ranking top 4 in the qualifying test, seeded 4th as the competition moved into the first round and ultimately WON!
