Attendance Matters!
November Average Daily Attendance (ADA)
Congratulations to our 1st graders (primary) and 5th graders (intermediate) who had the highest Average Daily Attendance in November! Kindergarten wasn't too far behind first grade! Great job!
Unfortunately, illness hit our community in November. We completely understand and want you to stay home, rest, and get well when you're sick and contagious. We are really hoping that our students are healthy and get back to regular attendance habits in December.
When you're well, be here before the bell! Thank you for making regular school attendance a priority!

Holiday Harmony Night Invite
Tacky Holiday Fundraiser
Our staff had a blast celebrating Wacky Tacky Day last Thursday, dressing up in their wackiest outfits! Now, it’s your turn to join the fun!
During Holiday Harmony Night this Tuesday, December 10, you’ll get to see a slideshow of all the creative and tacky outfits. Families can vote for the “Wackiest” staff member by donating to the Michelle Bauer Scholarship and supporting families in need.
We’re excited to share the holiday spirit with you!

December Book Fair is Here!
Many families are taking advantage of the free, easy eWallet option for spending this year. You can access that information by selecting this link and loading funds. Your student has to bring nothing to the fair and gets to focus his/her energy on selecting desired items from the fair, not carrying a check or cash. It really is that easy.
Remember, we look forward to seeing you at Holiday Harmony Night for evening shopping and holiday cheer!
December News from Nurse Hutchinson
Thank You to Lauren's Lumpia
A huge shoutout to Lauren's Lumpia for bringing their delicious food truck to LMDES last Friday to provide lunch for our hardworking staff! The lumpia and other menu favorites were a big hit, and it was such a thoughtful way to show support and appreciation for our team.
We are so grateful to Lauren's Lumpia for their generosity and for being such a wonderful part of our community. Thank you for making our Friday extra special!

We encourage you to ask your child about "Dolphin Dollars" and our LMDES Schoolwide Expectations!
Bus Safety & Expectations
Please take a few moments to view the video below and review the Student Rules for Transportation with your student(s). Student safety on the bus is the shared responsibility of students, parents, bus drivers, and the school.
Regularly reviewing bus expectations with your student will help ensure a safe ride to and from school each day. Riding the bus is a privilege; it takes all of us to safely transport our students each day. Thank you for your support!
