Congratulations, Mrs. Hagenbuch!
Mrs. Allison Hagenbuch teaches 1st Grade at Chapman Elementary. Mrs. Hagenbuch has been a teacher in our District and at Chapman for 4 years. Her undergraduate degree is from Kent State University and she has also earned her graduate degree from Western Governors University.
“I love seeing my first grade students’ daily learning and growth, sharing in their joy, and watching their excitement and curiosity as they discover new things. It is incredibly rewarding to help them create special memories in school, as they are only little once, and I am fortunate to be part of this meaningful time in their lives!”
“Collaborating with both my Chapman colleagues and fellow first-grade teachers in our District is a daily highlight for me. After spending three years in a previous district, I transitioned to Chapman, where my colleagues became a supportive community. I am thankful to work alongside exceptional educators who prioritize student well-being and strive to create impactful and memorable learning experiences for some of our youngest learners. Furthermore, the families at Chapman are incredibly supportive and actively involved in their children’s education. They consistently demonstrate their dedication, whether by donating resources or volunteering their time to help in the classroom.”
Thank you Mrs. Hagenbuch for helping our 1st Grade students create special memories throughout the year! #ModelMustang

A Note From Our Literacy Specialist!
If you are looking for a show to help your child build reading skills, then check out Reading Buddies! It’s a video series from The Reading League. These fun episodes teach word reading using the science of reading. The show uses many of the strategies that your children do in the classroom! Check them out!

Dress for the Cooler Temperatures!
As the weather begins to get cooler, please dress students accordingly for outdoor recess. Students go outdoors when the temperature is twenty degrees or higher.
SCS Shared Food Guidelines
