2017 1095-C Correction Line 15
1095-C Correction Line 15
The 1095-C requires us to list the lowest cost premium available for employee only coverage on line 15. Please note: This may not be what you paid for insurance, based on your selection, but rather it is the lowest cost option you could have selected.
The District health insurance runs from August – June while the 1095-C is for the 2017 calendar year (Jan-Dec). There were premium changes in August, 2017 and this change was not reflected on the 1095-C for 2017. As a result, the forms have been corrected for months August – December.
All of the 1095-C forms for 2017 have been corrected and are available to all employees in the employee portal. If you received a paper copy, and would like an updated one sent to you, please contact hr@comalisd.org and we will be happy to send a new one. If you received the electronic copy, the corrected version is available in the employee portal for you to print. As a reminder, this document is for your records only and is NOT sent to the IRS with your taxes. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

The Thank You Note
"A lot of people have fancy things to say about customer service, but it’s just a day-in, day-out, ongoing, never-ending, persevering, compassionate kind of activity.”
One way to convey appreciation to students, co-workers, families and community partners is through a simple thank you note. You might think that thank you notes have lost their impact, being that they are such a tried and true communication method, but you would be dead wrong. In fact, it can be argued that technology has actually made the handwritten note somewhat of a lost art, allowing it to leave an even larger impact today than it would have in years past.
Thank you notes serve as an element within customer service that show you're willing to go that extra mile for those that participate in the educational experience. In education today , when so many parents and community members have opportunity for choice, service really is the defining factor. People do care deeply about how they are treated.
Here are some quick tips on writing an awesome thank you note:
- Be sure to mention the person's name and use the proper title.
- Express your gratitude, clearly stating the reason for sending the note.
- Mention details about what you enjoyed about your experience with this person(a fantastic opportunity to be specific and thoughtful).
- Allude to your future interactions with the person (when will you make contact next?)
- Close with professional but warm sign-off and a signature (examples: Best, Kindest Regards, Sincerely, etc.)
