Staff Spotlight
We are spotlighting the dedicated faculty and staff of Long Lake Central School District to celebrate their unwavering commitment to education and their positive impact on our students and community. Their hard work, creativity, and passion inspire excellence and foster a nurturing learning environment, making a lasting difference in the lives of our young learners.
Erin Quonce
PK-12 School Counselor
In just five months, Erin has become an integral part of the school community.
For Erin, the most rewarding aspect of joining the faculty is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. "Everyone is so caring, making it feel like a true family," she shares. "I deeply appreciate how staff genuinely connect with students, creating a fun and inviting learning environment."
As a counselor, Erin thrives on connecting with students. "I enjoy visiting classrooms and having one-on-one time with students in each grade," she explains. "My focus is on helping them develop essential life skills."
When not at school, Erin enjoys coaching volleyball, the intricate art of diamond painting, and the companionship of her feline friends.
One of the funniest student encounters? "A student once told me I looked like their mom's boss!" she recalls with a laugh.
If granted a superpower, Erin would choose the ability to bring happiness to everyone.
We look forward to witnessing Erin's continued contributions to the Long Lake CSD community!
Liz Hosley
District Treasurer
Liz has been a key member of the district's leadership team for the past two years.
For Liz, the most rewarding aspect of her role is the collaborative spirit within the LLCSD community. "I truly value being part of a dedicated team that works together to support our students and the district's success," she shares.
When not overseeing the district's finances, Liz enjoys exploring the world through travel and immersing herself in the energy of live music performances.
When asked to share a humorous student encounter, Liz declined to comment. It must be a good one!
If granted a superpower, Liz would choose teleportation, enabling her to effortlessly travel the globe and experience more of the diverse cultures and vibrant music scenes that fascinate her.
We appreciate all Liz does to keep our school thriving!
Julie Puterko
Deputy Treasurer
Julie has been a valued member of the team for three years.
The most rewarding aspect of her role is the opportunity to interact with students. "I love witnessing their unique personalities and watching them grow and flourish every day," shares Julie.
Students frequently visit Julie's office, often simply to say hello. She enjoys sharing sweet treats with them and hearing about their day.
When not at work, Julie relishes spending quality time with her daughters, whether it's an exciting shopping trip or a relaxing movie night.
Choosing just one funny student story is a challenge for Julie, as she has heard countless amusing anecdotes.
If afforded a superpower, Julie would choose the ability to grant wishes, bringing joy and fulfillment to those around her.
Julie expresses her deep gratitude for being part of the LLCSD family, emphasizing her love for working within this supportive community.
