Red Ribbon Week

Next week is Red Ribbon Week:

Monday wear red

Tuesday wear a hat (hats off to drug free)

Wednesday wear moustaches (I moustache you to make good choice)

Thursday wear socks (sock it to drugs)

Friday wear green (UNT community pep rally)

PLC Week

Next week is Power PLC Week:

Monday: Teachers will attend half day professional meetings. Students attend all 3 special areas. Students should wear athletic shoes and bring a lunch (we will eat in our classroom that day).

Tuesday-Thursday: No special areas

Friday: Regular Special Areas (Lucas & Phillips- PE; Martin- Music; Pound- Art)

Ice Cream

Beginning this week, third graders will be able to buy ice cream in the cafeteria on Fridays only. Please send cash or ensure that your child has funds in their lunch accounts.

Pumpkins!!

Our school science classes are having a pumpkin growing contest. We are watching to see which class' pumpkin seed will grow the most in a 6 week period. We will transplant our pumpkin seedling to the third grade garden soon!
