September 13, 2024 (#2)
As we head into our fourth week of school, we'd like to share some news with our KCSD Community!
Kennett Administration Enjoys Meeting Mushroom Festival Visitors
Dr. Rizzo Saunders and other KCSD administrators joined the tourists and Kennett locals at the 39th Annual Kennett Mushroom Festival on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8. The district team enjoyed meeting so many visitors and shared stickers, pens, footballs, and whistles as well as information and images detailing new construction at our Greenwood and New Garden Elementary Schools. It was the first year for the District to participate officially at the festival and we were thrilled to meet so many families and friends who were kind enough to stop by and meet the new Superintendent and our many principals and administrators.
We are excited to offer the Skyward Family Access Portal to help you update your family information quickly and easily. Simply go to your Skyward Account and update information for EACH OF YOUR CHILDREN IN KCSD. Go to your portal to fill out important documents like medical forms, emergency contact forms, and contact information plus access and acknowledge forms including our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), Student Device Agreement Form, COPPA Compliance, and New District Family and Student Handbook. And NOW you can access the updated Student Code of Conduct which you can find at the new Handbooks section of the website. Or simply go to your Skyward Family Access Portal and click the link, read through the document, and acknowledge that you've read it.
If you require technology support or guidance, go to our NEW Technology section at the kdsd.org website where you will find support for Skyward, Schoology, TalkingPoints and other information.

Connecting with the Community

Dr. Rizzo Saunders is also personally meeting with each administrator in the District to gather institutional knowledge and input for the future. Continue to track her plan at the Superintendent's section of the website where you will find her calendar and the entire entry plan in English and Spanish.
