Half Day

• After School Activities have limited space and will be on a first come basis.
• Limited registration will open on Friday, March 7, at 6:00 p.m. Only 1 registration will be allowed through Saturday, March 8, at 11:59 p.m. As per the agreement during registration, if more than one class registration is made during this time all classes will be canceled and refunded. You will be able to register again during the open registration period.
• After School Activities open registration for all remaining classes will continue beginning Sunday, March 9, at 12:01 a.m. Registration closes Friday, March 21, at 11:59 p.m.
  
• Classes are $25 total per class (not per week) for all six weeks. Some classes will have an additional material fee as noted when registering.
  
• Classes have both a minimum and maximum participation number. If the minimum number is not met we will notify you and refund your payment. If the class reaches its maximum participation level there will be a message that the class is full and is no longer taking registrations.
  
• Classes run for six weeks on select days from Tuesday, April 1 through Thursday, May 8.
• Classes are held from 3:40 to 4:30 p.m.
  

• Prompt parent pick up is required at 4:30 p.m. or 103 Club students registered for that day can return to The 103 Club after class.

• There is no bus transportation.

Come join Brain Games for an opportunity to interact with friends, learn new games, build confidence, and strengthen your brain and strategy skills. We will play traditional games such as Sorry, Battleship, Othello, and Chess. Students will be introduced to newer games such as Rush Hour, Blokus Trigon, Proof, Qwirkle, Brix, Q-Bitz, and more! No prior knowledge of games is necessary, just a willingness to learn and a desire to have fun!

Have fun each week serving, bumping, setting, spiking, and blocking a volleyball while playing the game of volleyball.

In this class we will pick teams and players from the NBA and MLB to be on our Fantasy Team and see who scores the most points for their team they chose . We will also do crafts related to basketball and baseball .This ASA is a fun class to get together and talk about sports as well. No sports will be played.

Come join the Half Day School Green Team and become a friend of the environment! We will learn about how we impact the earth, plan school-wide green events, make environmentally friendly crafts, plant, and so much more! Students who participate will also be in charge of helping with our school's composting program, plastic free lunches and recycling program!

Have fun each week playing a different team sport depending on the weather. We will play Volleyball, Basketball 21, and Football Derby in the Gym. We will play Quick Number Soccer, Kickball, and Capture the Flag outdoors.

Unleash your child's inner innovator with the Learning Fund Foundation Junior Innovators' Program! This six-week class will empower fifth-graders to think creatively, collaborate with peers, and develop a final pitch for their innovative ideas. Join us for an exciting journey of discovery and invention! Students will work in teams of three as part of this program. (This class is open to 5th graders only.)

Have fun kicking a football playing Football Derby in the gym or outside. Have fun kicking a playground ball and running the bases trying to score runs on offense and trying to make outs playing defense in kickball with rules of baseball. We will play each of the three games twice during the six weeks of after school activities.

We will learn how to make our own jewelry to take home with us! We will make our own pieces, including bracelets and necklaces, using colorful and high quality beads and other findings.
