APS: Natural & Renewable Resources
Weekly Newsletter: March 20th, 2017
Spring is here, but don't pack your snow coat away just yet!
Don't let this warm weather fool you, though. There's always a surprise snow storm around the corner...
Speaking of which, I know we are all counting down the days to Spring Break (whether or not we get the week off...)
So please, let's consider giving our buildings a break during this time too!
Kindly remind your fellow teachers and staff to turn off lights, promethean boards, computers, and laptops and unplug any personal appliances and electronics when not in use and especially on Fridays!
Last year the week long shut down during Spring Break helped to conserve more than $25,000!
Can we double it this year?!
Take the pledge to reduce energy use at your school today!
We're here to serve you and help assist with any energy & water conservation projects, school garden and waste programs, and supporting environmental stewardship at your school!
Here's is to another week of going green at APS!
